Rosario Isabel Dawson, born May 9, 1979 [3in the United States, is an American actress. In 1995, she made her feature film debut in the independent drama Kids. Her subsequent roles in films include He Got Game (1998), Josie and the Pussycats (2001), Men in Black II (2002), Rent (2005), Sin City (2005), Clerks II (2006), Death Proof (2007), Seven Pounds (2008), Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010), Unstoppable (2010), Zookeeper (2011), Trance (2013), Top Five (2014) and Zombieland: Double Tap (2019). Dawson has voiced characters for Warner Bros./DC Comics, Disney/Marvel and ViacomCBS Nickelodeon. She was also nominated for the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best actor in a comedy for Top Five (2014), Trance (2013), Top Five (2014) Zombieland Double Tap (2019). Dawson was born in New York City on May 9th 1979. Isabel Celeste, her mother, is Afro-Cuban. Isabel was just 16 at the time that Rosario was born. Isabel didn't marry Rosario's biological father, Patrick C. Harris. When Rosario was just a year old, her mom got married Greg Dawson, a construction worker. In this union, Dawson has a half-brother, Clay, who is four years her junior. Dawson is also famous for her various characters in comic book adaptations.These include Gail in Sin City (2005) and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014), Claire Temple in five of the Marvel/Netflix series (2015-2018) and also singing the character of Wonder Woman/Diana Prince in the DC Animated Movie Universe and Space Jam: A New Legacy and Barbara Gordon/Batgirl on The Lego Batman Movie. She played Ahsoka Tano on The Mandalorian's second season beginning in 2020. In the coming year, she will be starring in the Disney+ original series Ahsoka. She will also appear in Young Rock, an autobiographical comedy show created developed by Dwayne John in 2021.
