Jillian Noel Hennessy

 Jillian Noel Hennessy (born November 25 in 1968) is a Canadian actress and singer. She is most famous for her role in the role of Claire Kincaid, a US prosecutor, in the television show Law & Order for three seasons. Crossing Jordan was six seasons. Jordan Cavanaugh, the main character in Crossing Jordan, lasted six seasons. She has also acted as an actress in films such as RoboCop 3: Most Wanted and the indie films Chutney Popcorn (which she also co-directed) and The Acting Class (which was written by her). Hennessy was born in Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy her father was a marketing executive and salesman. This required frequent travel which resulted in numerous family relocations. Maxine Her mother was secretary. Her daughter was left behind by Eleanor her paternal grandmother from Kitchener, Ontario. John Paul Hennessy Jr. is her younger brother. Jacqueline is her identical twin sister and is a Canadian magazine writer and host. Hennessy's ancestral ancestry includes Irish, French, Swedish, and Italian descent on her father's and most Ukrainian Roma on her mother's. After graduating from Grand River Collegiate Institute (both in Kitchener) She went to Stanley Park Senior Public School. She also busked in the Toronto subway. Hennessy as well as her sister were among the first to act as twin call girls in 1988's Dead Ringers. She was not selected to play Dana Scully on The X-Files according to Gillian Anderson, the actress who eventually got the role.She was on Broadway in the musical Buddy the Musical - The Buddy Holly Story in 1990.In 1993, she appeared as Dr. Marie Lazarus in RoboCop 3.In 1993, Dick Wolf signed Hennessy as an assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid in the NBC crime drama Law & Order. The role lasted for three seasons before ending the series as an actress in the year 1996.
